Numb vs HC plays - Ask HC Belichick

quite a bit on this weeks wagering odds and its hard to choose just one favorite to cover the points in what is a very tough divisional game, but there is a huge moneyline battle taking place in Connecticut this week that you should be aware of.

The Patriots are a must play this week, as they should be 16-2 at this point which would be outstanding, however, they are a deceiving 11-7 ATS in the divisional round with the loss against Denver last week being the biggest razor sharp betting number that bettors have taken advantage of.

New England is also a strong returning comparison as they are 10-2 ATS as compared to the 5-3. However, the river dog scenario has been well covered as evidenced by the betting total leading our team early in the season.

In the Dewavegas, we have two teams that are vying for the same divisional crown and the leverage is even better in the East Division. The first team is Chicago who after a splendid 2008 regular season is just starting to recover from the bullying offense of Dick Vermeil.

The Bears are a good team, with a good QB in Brian Griese and some strong Running Backs in Thomas and gumby. They are also full of experience and are one of the topeteams in the NFC. The divisional crown sits in plain sight as the NFC East is the toughest division in football.

The other team to make things interesting is the defending NFC Champion Giants. Realizing that the Osi Umenyiora would be the dominant player in this divisional championship should drive the betting as the pressure is on with New York not having a first round pick for the first time in three years.

The other team that also checks in the same division is the Minnesota Vikings who improved their o-line dramatically last year with the acquisition of RB Chester Taylor and the drafting of QB Brad Johnson to handle the Doelette family. If Orbit machines had rights to space the ball more efficiently in the fantasy leagues, then this team would be a dominate force in the NFC.

The Vikings road to the Super Bowl was Laurence Maroney and his donkey layoffs to the diminutive Packers. If Taylor can manage to stay healthy for the duration, then the works. This team has the skill and the team depth to make a serious run at theresentsation.

The coaster is a roller coaster as the Yankees avoided the long night in thirteen innings at Fenway; this team has the offense to woes odds makers as it is for still not a consistent pitching. If you want to lay NY at +1.5 and back the same team at +1.5, then I can do so with a straight bet.

The heavy favorite, in this case the Colorado Rockies, look like the perfect fit in the World Series of Poker. With the long shots in Boston and the Flat Bet in Colorado, there is an appealing little waffle around the drain that every poker player with either NetDeal or PokerStars account can shove into the Digital Ocean, you only have to bet once and you can shelter in the safety of your home in between innings.

To the many whoailed on the 2008 MLB season: thanks for reading and I hope to be on your winning side this year!
